Sustainability
The For Good Compostable Kitchen Trash Bags offer a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic garbage bags by being certified compostable and made from plant-based materials.
Unlike conventional plastic bags, which take hundreds of years to decompose and contribute to landfill waste, these compostable bags break down naturally in composting environments without leaving behind harmful microplastics.
They are BPI-certified, ensuring they meet strict compostability standards and decompose into non-toxic, organic matter. Designed for durability while being environmentally responsible, these bags help reduce reliance on petroleum-based plastics, making them a more sustainable choice for waste management in eco-conscious households.

How to use
-
Open the Bag Gently – Carefully separate and open a compostable bag, as plant-based materials can be slightly more delicate than traditional plastic.
-
Line Your Trash Can – Place the bag inside your 13-gallon kitchen trash can, folding the edges over the rim for a secure fit.
-
Avoid Excess Liquids – For best results, avoid putting large amounts of liquid or very wet waste directly into the bag, as compostable materials may weaken when overly saturated.
-
Take Out When Full – Remove the bag when it's about two-thirds to three-quarters full to prevent overstretching or tearing.
-
Dispose Properly – If your community offers compost collection, dispose of the full bag in your green bin. If not, place it in the regular trash.
-
Store Remainder in a Cool, Dry Place – Keep unused bags in their original packaging in a cool, dry spot to maintain their strength and compostability.
