About Prodigal Pottery
At Prodigal Pottery, every piece tells a story of hope, healing, and second chances. Handmade just outside Birmingham, Alabama, our pottery is crafted by women fleeing homelessness, domestic abuse, and sex trafficking. We exist to employ, equip, and empower women in crisis, offering dignified work and a path forward through the love of Jesus.
We work directly out of King’s Home, a long-term shelter that provides safety and stability for women and children. Many of our artisans are residents there or are part of The WellHouse, a safe home for survivors of sex trafficking. Regardless of their past, we welcome each woman with open arms and provide the tools they need to build a brighter future.
