Organic cotton is grown without pesticides and synthetic fertilizers and uses 91% less water than regular cotton and produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions.

Organic cotton is also a more sustainable choice when compared to other popular fabrics such as polyester because organic cotton doesn’t shed microplastics and it’s better for recycling. 

About Wrappily

Burdened with guilt and belief that a better solution existed, I founded Wrappily in 2013 to answer a global need for a smarter, more sustainable gift wrap. Not to mention, my house was being overrun with gently used paper, ribbons, and gift bags just waiting for their moment to shine (again). I just couldn’t take anymore!

Wrappily is an example of what happens when you start to connect the dots in life. I grew up in the printing industry (thanks, Dad) and my affinity for old fashion printing presses continued to grow during a decade spent working in the publishing industry.

Wrappily is headquartered on Maui, my home teeming with talented and generously supportive people willing to help make an idea a reality.

How to use

Cut the Ribbon: Measure and cut the desired length of ribbon, leaving extra for curling and tying.

Wrap the Gift: Use the ribbon to wrap around the gift or tie it around the neck of a package or jar. Secure it with a knot or bow.

Curl the Ribbon: Hold the ribbon taut with one hand, and using scissors (open slightly), press the blade against the ribbon while pulling the ribbon along its edge. This creates soft curls.

Adjust and Style: Arrange the curled ribbon as desired, letting it cascade naturally for a charming, rustic look.

To store properly: Neatly roll the ribbon back onto its spool or create a small, compact roll if the spool is unavailable. Use a small piece of eco-friendly tape or a pin to secure the loose end and prevent unraveling. Keep the ribbon away from direct sunlight and moisture to prevent discoloration or weakening of the material.
