Founded in 2020 by long-time friends Stephanie Torres and Stephanie Manning, Coast to Coast Sustainables started as a creative way to repurpose leftover textiles from Bellingham, WA. What began as a small passion project quickly blossomed into a woman-owned business committed to designing reusable, eco-conscious products, everything from snack bags to bowl covers, to replace disposable plastics around the home.

How to use
Using REfilters is just like brewing with disposable paper filters, but without the waste. Place the filter into your size #2 or #4 cone or basket-style coffee maker, add your favorite coffee grounds, and brew as usual. Once the filter has cooled, discard the grounds (compost if possible), rinse thoroughly with warm water, and allow to air dry. For first use, and occasionally for deep cleaning, boil the filters for 10 minutes to sanitize and remove any residue buildup. With proper care, each filter provides up to 6 months of clean, delicious coffee.
