Sustainability
Sponge Cloths are a sustainable choice because they’re made entirely from renewable, natural materials—70% cellulose and 30% unbleached, non-GMO cotton—without any plastic or fossil fuel components. Their durability and reusability mean you can wash and use them hundreds of times, greatly reducing the need for disposable paper towels that generate landfill waste. Plus, both the cloths and their packaging are certified compostable, so when they reach the end of their life, they break down naturally without harming the environment. This combination of renewable materials, long-lasting use, and compostability helps minimize waste, lower carbon emissions, and protect our planet.

About If You Care
The If You Care brand was created in 1990 and started with unbleached coffee filters. If You Care had the first and only unbleached coffee filters in North America at that time. Parchment Baking Paper and Baking Cups soon followed, both unbleached as well. There was no other brand in the North American market offering brown chlorine-free paper products.
If You Care has continued to come out with more products over the years.
If You Care products are produced with a view to reducing the amount of waste in our waste streams. If possible, nothing should remain after the product has been used and properly disposed of. The packaging is made from unbleached recycled cardboard or paper which should be recycled again.

What are people saying about the Sponge Cloth?
These really work. I reckon we have cut our paper towel use by 80%. They last a long time and clean up easily after a bunch of uses.
These soak up water very well and are flexible unlike regular sponges. I have bought at least 2 packages and will probably purchase them again. They don't last forever but are washable and do hold up well. I have them in both the kitchen and bathroom. I don't like writing reviews.
Love love love them! Easy and fun to use, which is saying a lot about a sponge. Gave a few as gifts and the recipients are surprised at how much they like them. These sponge cloths clean around the kitchen very well and dry quickly and cleanly. No mildewy smell. And hold up great in their own washing.
How could I possibly have lived without this product? OMG! Softer and better for wiping countertops than a sponge--far less messy because you can squeeze them dry and they don't leave a wet trail with every swipe. Study enough to scour the sink. I'm embarrassed to say I cleaned my outside grill with one, threw it in the wash, and it came out almost completely clean. GREAT from travels in my Airstream camper...where I am constantly wiping the countertops, the sink, the tiny floor when the dogs track in muddy paws. A new clean sponge cloth is perfect for delicate glassware. Ok, I obviously can't stop raving about this item.
Great.
How to use
Sponge Cloths is easy and efficient. Simply rinse the cloth and wring out any excess water to maximize absorbency before use. You can clean surfaces with just water, soap and water, or any household cleaner. After cleaning, rinse the cloth thoroughly, wring out the water, and lay it flat to dry. For deeper cleaning, the cloth can be machine washed or placed in the dishwasher at temperatures up to 190°F (88°C) and reused up to 300 times. Avoid using chlorine bleach or harsh chemicals, and do not tumble dry.
When the cloth has reached the end of its life, it’s fully compostable—simply toss it into your compost bin along with its compostable packaging.
